Sector Focus
Building businesses across different areas
NetScientific develops customised, proactive investment strategies for its subsidiaries and portfolio companies. By supporting and advising these companies, the Group provides access to a blend of private, corporate and institutional finance sources.
A wide network of corporate relationships is leveraged both to validate the opportunities and accelerate growth of the Portfolio.
Life Sciences and Healthcare
NetScientific is focused on identifying, investing in and growing teams which develop solutions that can make a real difference to the problems faced by healthcare systems.
The Group’s dual access to the US and European healthcare markets positions it uniquely well to help companies on either side of the Atlantic to maximise their growth opportunities.
NetScientific’s subsidiaries and portfolio companies that specialise in medical diagnostics and therapeutics benefit from the Group’s ability to support the commercialisation of a product or service and its acceleration to market.
Sustainability
Energy
The energy sector is by default cyclical, and as such there are many examples of market expansion before sudden contraction. However, the current energy price crisis differs from past price surges because of the strong focus on climate change and global warming, and the subsequent global pledge to achieve net-zero emissions of greenhouse gases by 2050.
All sectors of the economy are exposed to a net-zero transition, but some are more exposed than others. The energy sector (eg. coal, gas power, fossil fuels) emit significant quantities of CO2. This, combined with exorbitant energy prices, is pushing the trend to develop new solutions and technologies to reduce energy bills, and carbon footprints. NetScientific encourages its portfolio companies to embrace this trend and develop new sustainable technologies. Three Portfolio companies are leading the way with unique technologies in this sector: PointGrab Ltd, Q-Bot Ltd and Sofant Technologies.
Circular Economy
We see huge potential for innovation as a driving force behind the transition to a circular economy. Across all sectors, a focus on resource efficiency and implementing circular economy business models will not only lead to a large sustainability impact but will also increase the efficiency of production and provide supply-chain benefits through intelligent waste management.

Meeting these challenges is a complex task, and many city planners are looking to Smart Solutions to solve these problems. There is great societal value in making cities smarter and transport safer through advances and innovations in connectivity, communications, and data optimisation. Autonomous and electric vehicles are the future of transport, with technology spreading across sectors to interconnect elsewhere.
